Devin Pointing to himself

Hey, I'm Devin. A 26 year old from London, Ontario currently studying at Fanshawe College.

I spend a lot of my time working on my own projects, including this website.

I got into programming back in Grade 10 Computer Science class.

My teacher gave us a lot of creative freedom, which helped my passion for programming.

By the end of the course I built a text-based zombie survival game in Turing

with trading, building, fighting, a weather system, etc. It has inspired me ever since.

The project I'm mainly focused on right now is ÆON.

It can backtrace, speculate & build languages based on real world linguistics.

Think like how modern English might sound on Mars 150 years from now.

Or generating a linguistically grounded language for a world you're building.

It's hard to fully describe in one go honestly.

Outside of that I make music on FL Studio, self-taught harmonica, & I'm still teaching myself guitar.

I like cooking new things & seeing how they turn out.

When I'm not at my PC I'm usually hiking, camping or somewhere outside.

I'm a pretty open person. What you see is what you get.
